Since 1978, the Plant City FC Lancers have been the home for competitive soccer to the youth of Plant City. We provide a learning environment for boys and girls ages 4-18 that want to develop not only in soccer skills, but life lessons as well. Competitive fees are some of the lowest in the entire region as the Lancers try to provide all aspects of soccer as affordable as possible.
Plant City Area Soccer Club, Inc. is the 501c (3) non-profit organization for the club that is managed through the tireless efforts of volunteers. 2014 brought a fresh start for the Lancers with a new Board of Directors and a new direction. The current Lancers are financially stable, completely transparent and willing to listen to everybody in the club to make it a better environment for the youth of Plant City.
Our teams compete under the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) banner and compete currently in the United Soccer Association (USA) league. We will also have a presence in the Florida State Premier League (FSPL) for the 2015-16 season. We have been admitted and a few teams will also join the Greater Central Florida (GCF) league in the Fall of 2015. Three of our younger teams were admitted into the Youth Player Development Series (YPDS) as well. It's all about giving our players the best opportunity to succeed and develop. We once again expect to have players compete in ODP (Olympic Development Program) and send players to tryouts with the U.S. Soccer Training Center.
